Agony: Vicious Velvet ANIMATION

Veins of Amethyst

Glass shattered in the adjoining corridor, a melodic tinkling that defied the heavy, oppressive silence of the shuttered psychiatric wing. Dr. Michael Morbius paused, his pallid fingers hovering over a rack of glass test tubes. He did not breathe. He did not need to. Instead, he allowed his heightened senses to map the darkness of the derelict hospital, feeling the subtle shifts in air pressure and the faint, rhythmic dripping from a rusted pipe two floors above.

Something else was dripping now. It sounded thicker than water, heavier than blood. It landed against the linoleum with a soft, viscous hiss.

Morbius turned slowly, his crimson eyes cutting through the gloom of his makeshift laboratory. He had chosen this abandoned medical facility precisely for its isolation. It was a tomb of forgotten sorrows, reeking of mildew and old iodine, perfect for a creature of the night attempting to cure his own accursed thirst. Yet, the shadows near the reinforced double doors were moving, detaching themselves from the peeling wallpaper in a display of impossible physics.

"You drink to pretend you are still human, Doctor," a voice echoed. It was a sound like velvet wrapped around a blade, sweet and lethal. "But we both know the hunger always wins."

From the ceiling above the doorway, a pool of iridescent magenta fluid descended. It did not fall; it stretched, defying gravity as it lowered itself to the floor. The violet mass writhed, expanding and contracting before weaving itself into the breathtaking silhouette of a woman. She was a masterpiece of liquid amethyst, her form perfectly sculpted, yet entirely alien. Her long, violet hair seemed to possess a life of its own, the strands drifting around her shoulders like predatory serpents tasting the air.

"You are trespassing in a quarantine zone," Morbius said, his voice a low, gravelly baritone. He did not retreat, though his muscles coiled with tension. "I am engaged in volatile hematological research. Leave."

The symbiote known as Agony offered a smile that was far too wide, revealing a flash of pearlescent, razor-sharp teeth. She took a slow, deliberate step forward. Her movements were hypnotic, an intoxicating blend of feline grace and extraterrestrial fluidity.

"I am the quarantine, Michael," she purred, her violet eyes locking onto his crimson ones. "I smelled your desperation from the rooftops. It smells like copper and burnt ozone. You have been a very busy bat, locking yourself away in this rotting cage."

Agony closed the distance between them with unsettling speed, stopping just inches from the edge of his stainless-steel worktable. She leaned forward, the metallic surface protesting with a low creak beneath her hands. The proximity was a deliberate tactic of seduction, a weaponizing of her alluring female host form to disarm her prey. The scent of her was intoxicating—a strange, sweet perfume reminiscent of night-blooming jasmine hiding the metallic tang of an open wound.

"Your heart beats at a fraction of a human's," Agony whispered, a tendril of her hair extending to trail lightly across the back of Morbius's pale hand. "Yet it pushes such fascinating chemistry. I want to taste the anomaly. I want to know what makes the Living Vampire so terrified of his own shadow."

Morbius snatched his hand away, his claws extending with a sharp snick. "My biology is a curse, creature. It is a labyrinth of genetic decay. There is nothing in my veins for a parasite to scavenge."

"Parasite?" Agony feigned a gasp, pressing a hand to her chest. "Such an ugly, industrial word. We are a symphony, Doctor. We are evolution. And you are starving."

She lunged, not with her hands, but with a sudden, violent whip of her hair. The amethyst tendrils solidified into a solid, blunt instrument, striking Morbius in the chest and sending him crashing into a towering shelf of medical supplies. Beakers, syringes, and sterilization trays rained down around him in a cacophony of shattering glass and clattering steel.

Agony laughed, a musical sound that echoed off the damp tiled walls. She flowed over the worktable like a spilled liquid, her form reshaping and reforming in a terrifying display of biological supremacy. "Show me the monster, Michael! Show me the beast you try so hard to sedate!"

Morbius rose from the debris, a feral snarl peeling back his lips to reveal his elongated fangs. The hunger, always lurking at the edge of his consciousness, surged forward, fueled by the sudden adrenali
