Darth Talon: Eclipsed Dominion by Jade Gretz

Darth Talon, Sith Lady of the One Sith, surveyed the desolate moon of Korriban. The crimson sun cast long, skeletal shadows across the ancient Sith tombs, their obsidian monoliths slicing into the blood-red sky. A shiver ran down her spine, a sensation at odds with her Sith training that emphasized the suppression of emotions. Yet, here, on this forsaken world, a sense of unease gnawed at her.

She was here on a mission, not a nostalgic visit. Master Krayt's orders were clear: retrieve the Sith holocron of Darth Andeddu, the Dark Lord who had once sought to cheat death by transferring his essence into a series of clones. Talon knew the dangers of such forbidden knowledge, understood the chaos it could unleash upon the galaxy. But refusing Krayt was not an option.

Navigating the labyrinthine catacombs beneath the tombs was a test of Talon's patience and Sith strength. The air hung heavy with the residue of dark side energy, a suffocating miasma that whispered forgotten promises of power and whispered warnings of terrible consequences. As she delved deeper, grotesque statues of long-dead Sith Lords glowered down at her, their skeletal faces contorted in eternal screams.

Reaching the chamber where Andeddu's holocron lay, a wave of oppressive darkness washed over her. The air crackled with a malevolent energy, and the shadows seemed to writhe with unseen horrors. Fear, a primal emotion she had long thought eradicated, prickled at the edges of her consciousness.

Ignoring the tremor in her hands, Talon activated the holocron. A spectral image flickered to life – Darth Andeddu, a gaunt figure with eyes burning like embers. He spoke of his quest for immortality, of his experiments with essence transfer, his voice dripping with a chilling conviction.

As Andeddu detailed his successes and failures, a sense of dread settled upon Talon. Some of the Sith Lord's experiments went horribly wrong, creating twisted parodies of life – monstrous entities fueled by hunger and rage. A cold sweat beaded on her forehead. These weren't mere tales; they were terrifying truths.

Suddenly, the holocron flickered, the image of Andeddu replaced by a swirling vortex of obsidian darkness. A voice, raspy and ancient, echoed through the chamber. "You have awakened me, little Sith," it rasped. "Do you seek the secret of immortality?"

Talon, her red eyes blazing with defiance, ignited her crimson lightsaber. "I seek knowledge," she declared, her voice trembling slightly despite her best efforts. "Knowledge you can no longer hold."

The chamber shuddered as a monstrous entity materialized from the vortex. It was a grotesque amalgamation of Andeddu's failed clones, a tangled mass of flesh and bone pulsating with dark energy. Its single, burning eye fixated on Talon, its hunger palpable.

Fear threatened to consume her, but years of brutal training kicked in. Talon launched herself at the monstrosity, a whirlwind of crimson light. Yet, her attacks seemed to have little effect. The creature, fueled by an insatiable hunger, shrugged off her blows with a sickening thud.

Their battle raged through the chamber, the ancient walls echoing with the clash of lightsaber and monstrous roars. Talon, pushed to her physical limits, felt the strain on her mental fortitude. The holocron's whispers, Andeddu's promises of endless power, tempting her with whispers of an easy solution.

As the creature pinned her to the ground, its maw agape, preparing to devour her, a forgotten memory flashed before Talon's eyes. Not memories of her Sith training, but of a world bathed in sunlight, of a young girl playing amidst lush fields. Memories of Fresia, her home planet, the world Darth Krayt had destroyed.

A wave of rage, raw and unadulterated, surged through Talon. This wasn't just about her life; it was about vengeance. With a roar that echoed through the chamber, she channeled her anger, her grief, her hatred into the Force.

The holocron, sensing the shift in her emotions, pulsed with a malevolent light. But Talon wouldn't be swayed. The dark side fueled her, but it didn't control her. This was her pain, her power.

The chamber filled with a blinding light, a searing energy that emanated from Talon's very being. The creature shrieked as the light engulfed it, dissolving its grotesque form into wisps of dark smoke. The holocron shattered, its fragments scattering across the floor.

Exhausted but victorious, Talon sank to her knees. The battle had drained her, leav
