Sheeva: Four-Armed Fury ANIMATION
The Verdigris Choir
Emerald lightning coiled like translucent serpents around the obsidian pillars of the Soul Chambers, casting long, flickering shadows that danced across Sheeva’s bronzed, muscular back. She moved with a silent, predatory grace, each of her four hands hovering near the hilts of her buckled blades. The air here didn't just carry the scent of ozone; it tasted of copper and ancient, unwashed secrets. To the common warrior, this was a place of execution, but to the Queen of the Shokan, it was a library of the damned. She came not for blood, but for the lineage of the stolen.
Somewhere in the swirling green haze, the collective consciousness known as Ermac waited. He was a tapestry woven from a thousand threads of agony, a sentient ossuary of the souls Shao Kahn had harvested over millennia. Sheeva felt the weight of his gaze before she saw him. It wasn't a single pair of eyes, but the oppressive sensation of a stadium full of spectators watching her every heartbeat. She adjusted her grip, her skin glowing under the sickly light, the intricate crimson markings of her heritage tracing the powerful contours of her shoulders.
"Show yourself, construct," Sheeva commanded, her voice a low, resonant rumble that vibrated in the very floorboards of the chamber. "I have no patience for the theatrics of a thousand ghosts. I seek the echo of the Prince of the Third Moon. I know his essence resides within your cacophony."
From the swirling mists of the central soul-well, a figure materialized, hovering inches above the stone. Ermac’s red wrappings were frayed, moving as if caught in a wind that didn't exist in the physical realm. The green glow emanating from his eyes and the gaps in his armor pulsed with the rhythm of a failing heart. When he spoke, it wasn't a voice, but a dissonant chord of a hundred different pitches, some weeping, some snarling, all unified in a terrifying harmony.
"Queen Sheeva," the choir whispered, the sound scraping against the inside of her skull. "You seek a single grain of sand in a desert of sorrow. Why do you bother with the dead when your living subjects are already being measured for their shrouds? We can smell the rot in your kingdom. We can hear the whispers of the subterranean rot that devours the Shokan roots."
Sheeva stepped forward, her upper hands crossing over her chest in a gesture of regal defiance, while her lower hands remained tensed, ready to draw steel. "The Shokan are eternal, built on bone and iron. Your riddles are the desperate gasps of a dying sorcerer's puppet. Give me the Prince’s memory, or I shall tear the silk from your frame and scatter your voices to the Void."
Ermac drifted closer, his movement liquid and unsettling. He circled her, the green mist trailing behind him like a bridal veil of necrotized light. "Seductive, isn't it? The idea that you are a separate entity. You believe your four arms were a gift of evolution, a mark of the warrior-caste. But we remember the first fusion. We remember the screaming. We remember the day the Shokan were broken and rebuilt into the Kahn’s multi-limbed siege engines. Your beauty is a scar, Sheeva. A masterfully crafted deformity."
The Queen’s eyes flared with a molten amber intensity. "Blasphemy. Our form is the pinnacle of Outworld’s evolution. You are nothing but a maggot feasting on the leftovers of history."
"Is that why your skin itches in the presence of the Chamber?" Ermac asked, his voice suddenly shifting to a single, hauntingly familiar baritone—the voice of Sheeva’s own father. "Is that why you feel the phantom limbs of the two-armed ancestors reaching out from the green, begging to be whole again? Look into the well, Daughter of the Draconian Flame. See the truth of the Shokan genesis."
He gestured toward the swirling vortex of souls. Sheeva felt an irresistible pull, a psychic gravity that tugged at the marrow of her bones. She fought the impulse to look, her muscles bulging with the effort, but the curiosity was a poison she had already swallowed. She glanced into the depths of the green fire and saw, for a fraction of a second, an image that made her breath hitch. She saw the Shokan before the Great War—tall, lithe, and possessing only two arms, their skin shimmering with a different kind of power, a magic that had been pruned and grafted to create the brute force of her current race.
"You show me illusions to weaken my resolve," she hissed, though the tremor in her lower hands betrayed her.
"We show you the inventory
