In the hushed silence of the cosmos, where stars whispered tales of forgotten civilizations, an ancient darkness stirred. For eons, a warlord, feared across galaxies and shunned even by the cruelest of beings, commanded an army of the accursed. His reign had reduced once-thriving planets to graveyards of ash and despair, leaving only the echoes of lost hopes in his wake. Known as Kael’thar, he was a specter of dread, a fusion of technology and malice, each armored sinew and gleaming circuit dripping with the essence of suffering. Stories of his conquests infiltrated the dreams of the bravest, leaving them shuddering beneath the knowledge that he was inching closer to their own worlds.

Yet, hope arrived in the form of a shining beacon—a young woman, celestial and bright, known as Supergirl. Her arrival was prophesied in the ancient scrolls of many races, heralded as the harbinger of hope that would surface in the shadow of despair. With a heart as fierce as her powers, she soared through the cosmos, her strength buoyed by the unyielding belief in the goodness of sentient beings. Although she had faced monsters of all shapes and sizes, none were quite like Kael’thar. This encounter would test her resolve, thrusting her into the abyss of horror that lay at the heart of the forgotten planets.

On the outskirts of the galaxy, amidst swirling nebulae and prismatic stars, lay the Forgotten Planets—once a vibrant cluster of life, reduced to ruins by the remorseless grip of the warlord. Alien races, now little more than shadows of their former selves, cowered beneath Kael’thar’s iron fist. A council of the few remaining leaders had called for aid, sending out a desperate message, one that reached Supergirl during a deep meditation, drawing her toward a realm where fear clutched the inhabitants tightly, instilling a sense of inevitable doom.

As her ship sliced through the fabric of space, Supergirl felt a chill creeping up her spine, a premonition that something far worse awaited her on this mission. The once-glowing star systems dimmed as she approached, cloaked in a veil of emptiness that mirrored the effects of Kael’thar's rule. After weeks of pilgrimage, she finally landed on one of the Forgotten Planets—Malpharius, a place where war and death lingered like a heavy fog.

Stepping off her ship, the ground crunched beneath her boots, the remnants of lives lost and fortunes abandoned. Structures of once-majestic cities loomed in fractured disarray, their spires bowed as if in mourning. The air was thick with an oppressive silence, punctuated only by the distant drone of machines—the warlord’s technology scouring the land for the last remaining rebels. She tightened her grip on her cape, steeling herself against the encroaching dread.

It didn’t take long for her presence to draw attention. Shadows danced among the ruins, eyes glimmering with suspicion and fear. Fragments of scattered conversations filled her ears—tales of Kael’thar’s cruelty flowed like a dark river through the air. The rebellion had suffered devastating losses, and the survivors were now mere whispers, flickering luminances waiting for an ember to ignite their hope again.

Supergirl approached a gathering of the fallen, her heart entangled with empathy. “I am Supergirl,” she announced, radiating warmth, “and I am here to fight for you. To free you from this scourge.”

A murmur rippled through the crowd, a mix of admiration and skepticism. One figure, older and weathered, stepped forward, eyes brimming with despair. “He is unlike anything you have faced. His power is beyond comprehension. Those who have confronted him four all fell, their screams echoing on the wind. What makes you think you can prevail where they did not?”

Pausing, Supergirl drawn from a well of inner strength, she replied, “I know fear, and I know loss, but I also know the light of hope that can shatter even the darkest of nights. Tell me where to find him, and I will confront him, to end this tyranny.”

The elder hesitated, the weight of centuries of sorrow dulling his resolve. “He resides in the dark citadel of Varkoth, amid the ruins of Orion Prime, with a legion of lost souls bound to his will. It is a place where not even the darkest creatures dare to tread. Many have ventured, yet no one has returned.”

Supergirl’s resolve only hardened further. “I will not turn away from the shadows that threaten your lives. I will be your light.”

As night cloaked the landscape, a shroud of dread enveloped her
